Archival print of Norse migrations to Scotland.
The Norse impact on Scotland extended far beyond coastal raiding. Anglo-Saxons migrated north from what would become England to the Scottish Lowlands. Normans (Danes who had settled Normandy, to invade England some generations later) followed to be incorporated into Scotland's elite. Norse, from what is now Norway raided, traded and settled much of coastal Britain and Ireland. All contributed to Scotland's heritage, culture and language. This graphic encapsulates those migrations.
This is available as a 17" x 22" archival print with a live area of 14.5" x 19.25" (the printed area within the sheet). More information about the print and archival printing is on the Scottish clans page. See a page with ordering instructions. If you have questions email Mike McMillen.
